We are so fortunate to have filmed some of the loveliest weddings in 2010, in turn creating some of the loveliest wedding films of our career. Wonderful couples, beautiful venues, and amazing vendors have made 2010 one for the record books. If you had the chance to meet me, it is probably very apparent that I LOVE what I do. I can’t speak for my whole team, but I personally cry at almost every wedding, I still gush over beautiful shoes and dresses, and i never tire of participating in one of the most authentic events in life, two people committing to spend the rest of their lives together.

For me, making my clients happy and giving them an artistic representation of this most sacred event is the most important task I have. My reward is seeing people react to what we have created for them and knowing that we were able to preserve something so meaningful. With that I am content and so when other vendors, colleagues, and industry leaders are also impressed by our work, I am humbled. In 2010 our work has been recognized multiple times by wedding planning blogs and we could not be more honored. A huge thank you to Style Me Pretty, who has featured 2 of our films from 2010, the latest of which is Ben & Amy’s SF Ferry Building wedding! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Scott Andrew is an incredibly talented photographer and it was such a great experience working alongside him for the day. I love working with people who are as passionate about their craft as we are about ours. Below are just a few shots of his but I would recommend checking out the full gallery over on SMP.

Danny & Shaudi Pestal had the most gorgeous wedding back on August 28, 2010. Nestled in the coastal redwoods of Northern California at a private estate, this wedding was so stylish and charming. Style Me Pretty also fell in love with their wedding and featured tons of the amazing stills from Seattle based photographer, Sean Flanigan and the couple’s handmade highlights film from yours truly on their blog today. We are so honored to have one of our films featured on Style Me Pretty as their blog is one of our favorite reads for wedding inspiration!

Recently, I had the great pleasure of filming a behind the scenes look at one of the features for Nonpareil Magazine’s current issue. This dazzling issue of Nonpareil Magazine features weddings inspired by famous romantic movies & for this particular article, Yelena Johnson of The Stylish Soiree brings the movie Amelie to life with her French inspired design & styling. Meg Perotti, the oh-so amazing photographer, was on hand to capture the fabulous imagery for the article.

This article is a must-read! Yelena lets us in on her secrets for this concept & design, and how you can incorporate these types of design techniques into your own wedding.
