Rana + Jay | Wedding Trailer
A few weeks back we had the pleasure of heading to the City by the Bay for one fabulous affair. The Ceremony took place at the Parade Grounds of Fort Mason, a stunning coastal bluff sheltered by weathered Cypress trees overlooking the San Francisco Bay. A formal reception at the hip & uber-cool RF80 rounded out the day’s festivities.
Rana and Jay had a clear objective in mind, to create a celebration that would embrace their family ties, showcase the love of their new life in San Francisco and remind them of their childhood and home in Hawaii. Tossing tradition to the wind, together they created a unique and enjoyable wedding, a wonderful party for all their guests to enjoy.
Here is a sneak peek at their wedding, Rana and Jay’s handmade wedding trailer. We hope you enjoy!
We also had the pleasure of working alongside Captured By Erika Photography and they were sweet enough to share some of their fabulous images with us.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was the gorgeous decor. This was not your average beach themed wedding, rather Rana managed to incorporate the feel of the sea and the tropics into a very urban and sleek setting, paying homage to Rana and Jay’s childhood in the Hawaiian Islands while keeping the feel very clean and modern. The use of Sea Fans, succulents, driftwood and even Japanese glass fishing floats complimented more traditional florals and decor.
